Hong Kong, being the 'Heaven for Delicious Food', there are many attempts to develop 'Food-lover Street' in the New Territories but seldom succeed. Yau San Street in Yuen Long is one of the exception - different kinds of restaurants operated their own business along the street, varying from Chinese or Western cuisines to local snacks, dessert houses etc. With a huge parking lot nearby, weekend-drivers usually 'park-and-eat' , trying special dishes that you can't find in other areas in Hong Kong. In the near future, a large-scale residential project is due to complete; with many more residents moving in, the pedestrian flow along Yau San Street definitely escalates
